to say this past year has been crazy is an extreme understatement. it was challenging, amazing, frustrating, satisfying, confusing all rolled into one and more. but, i wouldn’t change a second of it.
2011 was awesome to us and we are so grateful to our clients friends, and family. we had a blast with a TON of photo shoots! lots of engagement sessions, weddings, family sessions, pregnancy & newborn shoots, and everything in between. i hope 2011 was as great to you as it has been to us, we couldn’t have asked for a better year. 2012 has some pretty big shoes to fill, but i have a feeling it will be the best one yet

the photo on the left is justin. i just took it randomly to test the light for our orange county fair theme shoot and i ended up loving it. mainly because he’s so freaking cute, i can’t stand it.
and, photo on the right is a screen shot of when one of our weddings was featured in style me pretty! we are so proud of this wedding {kate + jordan} and that we were chosen to get featured. it was definitely a great highlight of the year!
this lil’ lady below has definitely turned this year upside down for us – and we wouldn’t change it for the world. justin and i found i we were expecting this past june and it’s been an insane ride ever since! watching her grow (via ultrasounds), hearing her heartbeat, feeling her kick has been some of the most amazing experiences of our life. we are so thrilled and excited to soon meet our little blake emily thiessen. she is due end of january so i only have a few more weeks to go!
we are so thankful for this little babe coming into our lives, definitely the best new year present
so, if you’ve been missing my posts/photographs i’m so sorry! it’s because of my recent expansion of my belly hehe. i’ve been on a little break because of the pregnancy, trying to get everything ready before i pop! after she arrives and we get settled into our new life as a complete family i will be up and running! blogging {rambling} regularly again, photo sessions, etc! so with that said, if you are interested in engagement/wedding photography, family sessions, newborn, etc please, please, please feel free to contact me at: amanda.thiessen1@gmail.com i will be checking and answering email up until the birth so don’t feel afraid to contact me!we can of course book sessions in the future!
